This strategic position is integral in designing, maintaining, and optimizing our data architecture to support the organization’s data initiatives and business objectives. As a Data Architect, you will be responsible for ensuring our data systems are robust, scalable, and aligned with industry best practices.

Your expertise will contribute to innovative data solutions that enable Qiddiya to leverage data effectively in decision-making processes. You will collaborate with various teams throughout the organization to promote data integrity, security, and availability across all data platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement comprehensive data architecture frameworks that support business goals.
• Facilitate the integration of new data sources and ensure quality and consistency of data.
• Develop policies and procedures governing the management of data assets, ensuring compliance with data governance standards.
• Create and maintain data models, database designs, and ETL processes.
• Assess and optimize data storage solutions, ensuring performance and scalability.
• Collaborate with IT and data engineering teams to troubleshoot data-related issues and provide timely resolutions.
• Stay informed on industry trends and advancements in data management technologies.
• Implement data security measures to safeguard sensitive information and maintain system integrity.

• Contribute to cloud computing in IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS on platforms like AWS, Azure, and GCP. Key skills include deployment, management, and optimization of cloud applications, as well as expertise in cloud security, virtualization, and migration strategies.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Management, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum 4-6 years of experience in data architecture and data modeling.
• Experience with cloud computing technologies is essential. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, as well as deploying, managing, and scaling applications in the cloud. Knowledge of cloud security best practices, cloud services (storage solutions, serverless computing, virtual networking), and a strong foundation in cloud architecture and migration strategies are also important.
