Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking an Assistant Manager - Cybersecurity Monitoring who will play a critical role in our security operations team. This position will focus on overseeing and enhancing our cybersecurity monitoring practices, ensuring that potential threats are detected and mitigated in a timely manner to protect our digital assets.

In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring security alerts, analyzing security incidents, and collaborating with various teams to strengthen our overall security posture. Your expertise will be essential in driving effective response strategies and fostering an environment of security awareness.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor cybersecurity events and alerts from security information and event management (SIEM) systems and other monitoring tools.
  • Analyze incidents to determine their nature and impact, coordinating with IT and cybersecurity teams to take appropriate action.
  • Develop and maintain monitoring and response protocols to ensure timely detection and response to security incidents.
  • Perform regular audits of security monitoring processes to ensure compliance with cybersecurity policies and standards.
  • Assist in the development of reports and metrics related to security incidents and effectiveness of monitoring initiatives.
  • Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and trends to enhance monitoring strategies.
  • Participate in cybersecurity training programs to promote security best practices within the organization.
  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 4-6 years of experience in cybersecurity monitoring, threat detection, or incident response roles.
  • Hands-on experience with SIEM tools and security monitoring technologies.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, threats, and vulnerabilities.
  • Proficient in analyzing security logs and identifying potential security incidents.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across teams.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)) are a plus.
