Job Description
- Ensures prompt, courteous, and accurate service to all guests to maximize customer satisfaction.
- Responsible for organizing work within the department, including assignments, schedules, and vacations to ensure optimal manpower utilization.
- Participates in developing, implementing, and reviewing policies, procedures, practices, and standards.
- Optimizes the efficient use of room inventory by monitoring, controlling, and providing feedback to support departments.
- Recommends changes in methods, equipment, or staff to improve departmental standards and productivity.
- Assists the Front Office Manager in monitoring key performance indicators and takes corrective actions as needed.
- Ensures adherence to company and hotel policies by all departmental employees.
- Maintains safety and security norms, procedures, and systems for guest belongings (e.g., lockers, left luggage).
- Monitors billing procedures to ensure accurate payments, maximizing organizational profitability.
- Ensures compliance with all statutory requirements by the Front Office.
- Maintains all Front Office documents and records as per operational and organizational requirements.
- Ensures all Front Office areas are kept neat, hygienic, and safe at all times.
- Handles all Room Reservations efficiently and processes them accordingly.
- Conducts regular briefing sessions.
- Familiar with all Front Desk and Cashiering functions.
- Manages guest ledger, long-stay guests, and paymasters.
- Greets and welcomes VIP guests upon arrival and escorts them to their rooms.
- Identifies training needs, plans activities, and oversees their implementation for all Front Office sections.
- Assists in preparing the annual budget and staffing guide, managing within budgetary guidelines.
Qualifications
University Degree in Hotel Management, with a minimum of 3 years in a similar role at a five-star hotel.
