Position Details

The role is based abroad at one of our international projects in the Middle-East, Gulf, or North Africa.

We are looking for dynamic and motivated Assistant Financial & Administration Managers to handle broad responsibilities across Finance, Administration, Personnel, Procurement, Insurance, and Stores in our international projects in the Middle-East, Gulf, and North Africa.

You will be a key part of our daily operations on-site, working closely with Commercial Managers and managing multiple projects across different departments. This role offers excellent career growth opportunities, with a potential progression to Commercial Manager.

Role Summary

As an Assistant Commercial Manager, you will plan and monitor activities related to construction projects, ensuring support for successful project implementation.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in cash flow management to ensure funds are available for project needs.
  • Ensure timely payments to personnel, suppliers, subcontractors, and other parties.
  • Monitor financial and commercial obligations under project agreements.
  • Oversee collection of receivables and insurance claims.
  • Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations (labour, taxes, customs, etc.).
  • Maintain personnel records and manage logistics related to transportation and accommodation.
  • Ensure procurement and subcontracting procedures align with group policies.
  • Support insurance processes and contract requirements.
  • Monitor warehouse and store operations.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
  • Master’s degree, ACCA, or IFRS diploma is a plus.
  • 1-3 years relevant experience, preferably in construction or multicultural environments.
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written); knowledge of French is a strong asset; Arabic is a plus.
  • Proficient in computer skills.
