An Assistant Director of Sales manages the hotel sales and marketing plans by recommending growth efforts, monitoring progress, and ensuring that the hotel is competitively positioned within the local marketplace.

What will I be doing?

As Assistant Director of Sales, you will work closely with the Senior Management Team to drive business needs and expand existing business through promotional efforts and sales channels. You will develop the sales team and groom a high-performing sales team. Specific responsibilities include:

  • Manage hotel sales and marketing plans to support business objectives and focus sales efforts across market segments.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Management Team to identify and support key business areas.
  • Contribute to sales and marketing initiatives by recommending, implementing, and monitoring local activities.
  • Describe the hotel's products and services through relevant sales resources and channels to existing and potential guests.
  • Produce accurate and timely reports for hotel management.
  • Present monthly reports on the sales team's contribution and activities to hotel owners and senior management.
  • Work with Reservations and Banqueting departments to enhance guest experience and develop sales programs.
  • Participate in management meetings to develop sales and marketing strategies.
  • Prepare hotel contracts in line with current business and pricing conditions.
  • Monitor offers, options, and discounts for repeat bookings, groups, and seminars in cooperation with the Group Coordinator.
  • Experience in sales management during Hajj and Umrah seasons, with the ability to capitalize on high-demand periods.
