Overview:

As an Assistant Academy Football Coach at Al-Qadsiah Club, you will manage the individual development of academy players, contribute to team performance, and enhance the professional capabilities of the coaching team. You will help deliver the club's Training and Game Models, fostering a structured and dynamic environment that supports long-term growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Training Model

  • Attend and actively participate in all training sessions
  • Maximize the use of time, space, and dynamics during sessions
  • Deliver coaching points and corrective feedback to players
  • Support the management of team and individual key indicators

Game Model

  • Support the design and execution of game plans
  • Compile and organize match statistics and 'match photo' reports
  • Assist in the performance evaluation of both individuals and the team

Academy Education Model & General Operation

  • Follow the training and game cycle plan
  • Collaborate effectively with coaching staff and other departments
  • Abide by internal regulations and uphold the values of the club and academy
  • Attend all required events and responsibilities assigned by the academy
  • Contribute ideas for continual improvement across coaching and player development
  • Perform any additional duties as directed by the Phase Lead or Academy Technical Director

Qualifications:

Essential:

  • AFC C Football License (or UEFA equivalent)

Desirable:

  • AFC Pro, A, or B License (or UEFA equivalents)
  • FIFA Guardian safeguarding qualification

Skills, Knowledge and Experience:

Essential:

  • Demonstrated experience coaching within structured academy environments
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a structured coaching approach
  • Effective communication of technical concepts to a wide audience
  • Fluent in English; Arabic and Spanish are an advantage

Desirable:

  • Experience working in multicultural, multi-disciplinary teams
  • Understanding of physical and technical needs at different stages of player development
  • Skilled in using football data tools and performance platforms
  • Previous experience coaching in Saudi Arabia or the Middle East
