A leading consulting firm is seeking an experienced Asset Manager in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, to oversee the commissioning of properties. The ideal candidate will have 10-15 years in the construction industry, with at least 5 years in asset management roles. Qualifications

Job description

Linum Consult’s client is currently seeking an Asset Manager to supervise the acceptance and commissioning of various properties in Saudi Arabia.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Leading the Asset Team in the development and implementation of the handover and commissioning strategy
  • Establishing a database of all assets to be handed over to the Operations and Management team
  • Communicating the commissioning strategy with the programme team, consultants and contractors
  • Scheduling the commissioning activities and identifying and allocating resources to these activities
  • Frequently travelling to oversee assets including garages, workshops, kitchens, etc. across Saudi Arabia
  • Witnessing the testing and commissioning activities to assure that the completed works meet the required performance specification
  • Liaising and coordinating with the programme team, consultants and contractors for the commissioning and handover activities

PROFILE

  • Minimum of 10-15 years’ experience in the construction industry
  • At least 5 years of experience in an Asset Management or Commissioning role
  • Degree in a relevant engineering or construction management subject
  • Previous experience working for project management consultancies or main contractors
  • Technical knowledge of asset management systems
  • Able and willing to travel frequently across Saudi Arabia
  • Previous history of working on large projects in the Middle East
