A leading company in the construction sector is seeking a Quantity Surveyor with extensive experience in asset management. The role involves cost estimation, inventory tracking, and compliance audits across multiple project sites. Candidates should possess strong analytical and communication skills, along with a bachelor's degree in a relevant field and a proven track record in the industry.
· Asset Valuation & Documentation: Assist in verifying and documenting assets across multiple project sites.
· Cost Estimation & Budgeting: Prepare cost estimates and reconcile expenses related to asset management.
· Inventory & Tracking: Maintain asset registers, ensuring accurate tracking of materials, equipment, and systems.
· Site Inspections: Conduct inspections to validate installed or stored assets against project documentation.
· Procurement & Lifecycle Management: Track asset life cycles, including procurement, deployment, and decommissioning.
· Compliance & Audits: Support internal audits and compliance checks concerning asset usage and inventory levels.
· Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with warehouse and logistics personnel to coordinate asset transfer, storage, and usage reports.
Requirements
· Education: Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
· Experience: Proven 7+ yrs of experiences in asset management within infrastructure or construction projects and Gulf return are preferred
· Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of cost estimation, contract management, and procurement strategies.
· Software Proficiency: Familiarity with MS Excel, cost estimation tools, and project management software.
· Analytical & Communication Skills: Ability to analyze financial data, negotiate contracts, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
