Job description

JOB PURPOSE

The Asset Management and CAFM Lead is responsible for the delivery of all asset management activities and the implementation of a Computer Aided Facilities Management (CAFM) system for the airport facilities under a facility management project. This role will ensure the effective management of built assets to achieve the Contracting Authority's key business objectives.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES

•Asset Management

oDevelop and implement a comprehensive Asset Management Plan aligned with ISO 55001.

oDevelop and implement an Asset Management Policy.

oConduct an Asset Management Maturity Assessment to identify gaps and define a plan to achieve ISO 550001 certification (note the typo is corrected).

oDevelop and implement an Asset Life Cycle Delivery Plan encompassing acquisition, operation, maintenance, and disposal.

oEstablish and manage an Asset Information Management System.

oOversee asset condition assessments to determine operational viability and identify investment priorities.

oDevelop and manage a balanced scorecard approach to assess asset health and condition.

oProvide recommendations for investment prioritization based on asset condition assessments.

•CAFM System Implementation and Management

oManage the implementation and ongoing operation of the provided CAFM system.

oEnsure the CAFM system aligns with the Client's requirements and integrates with their existing systems.

oManage data quality and ensure consistent data capture across all work packages.

oUtilize the CAFM system to:

Manage a centralized 24/7 call center for receiving, recording, prioritizing, and assigning work requests.

Prioritize work based on defined criteria and response times.

Maintain a system of record for all airport facilities, locations, and assets.

Provide a centralized view of facility management activities.

Capture data consistently across all work activities.

Monitor service delivery, performance, and responsiveness against SLAs and KPIs.

Generate reports.

Enable mobile working for real-time work management, document access, and data capture.

Support improved facility life cycle management.

Monitor Client's maintenance interdepartmental SLAs.

Provide a platform for current and future airport-wide integrations.

Enhance health and safety procedures linked to the Work Permit System.

Support facility management costs, performance, and risks.

oEnsure your team adheres to defined workflows and business rules within the CAFM system.

oManage user access and training for the CAFM system.

oComply with the Client's IT security policies.

oGenerate reports on CAFM system usage and performance.

Skills

QUALIFICATIONS & CERTIFICATIONS

•Bachelor's degree in engineering, facilities management, or a related field (preferred).

•Minimum 5 years of experience in asset management and/or facilities management.

•Proven experience in implementing and managing a CAFM system.

•Working knowledge of ISO 55001 Asset Management principles.

•Strong understanding of facilities maintenance principles and practices.

•Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

•Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

•Proficiency in MS Office Suite and experience with CAFM software (preferred).

EXPERIENCE

•Experience working in an airport environment (highly preferred).

•Experience managing asset data and life cycle assessments.

•Experience developing and implementing asset management plans and policies.

•Experience working with SLAs and KPIs.

•Experience in workflow management and process improvement.
