Job Description

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Professional Experience: Total experience of 15+ years related working experience.
  • Certifications: Combination of API 570, API 510, API 653, NACE certifications, Cswip or AWS Welding Inspection Certification, and other relevant certifications.

Skills:

  • Excellent knowledge and experience in cost accounting, SAP, and presentation of cost data.
  • Strong background in cost control within EPC projects in the chemical industry, with proficiency in SAP and MS Office applications.

Task Description:

  • Coordinate with Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering teams to support process containment and piping integrity for safe operations.
  • Evaluate inspection reports, metallurgical results, and corrosion data to improve asset integrity and reliability.
  • Collaborate with engineering, reliability, maintenance, and safety teams for technical integrity assessments and failure analysis.
  • Participate in Fitness-For-Service (FFS) studies and develop solutions for equipment and system improvements.
  • Lead or support Risk-Based Inspection (RBI) assessments and develop maintenance strategies.
  • Develop and maintain standards, manuals, and procedures related to mechanical integrity and inspection.
  • Provide technical expertise for repairs, modifications, and incident investigations.
  • Support procurement activities with technical evaluations of vendors and suppliers.
  • Mentor and train entry-level engineers and personnel.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and safety regulations.
  • Keep updated on latest standards, codes, practices, and technologies applicable to the role.
  • Perform other related activities as directed by supervisors.
