Job Description

We are seeking an Asset Integrity Engineer to join the Asset Integrity Group within our Consulting Services Department (CSD).

Our Consulting Services Department provides Saudi Aramco and Joint Ventures with effective engineering consultations, introduces viable technologies, and maintains quality standards.

As an Asset Integrity Engineer, your primary role will be to support operations and projects, provide technical consultations, and maintain standards related to the Asset Integrity Management System (AIMS) and solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide guidance to operating facilities in establishing and safeguarding asset integrity throughout the asset lifecycle (Design, Procurement & Construction, Operation & Maintenance, Decommissioning).
  2. Initiate and conduct studies to improve facilities or operations using specialized technical services.
  3. Define asset integrity and process safety targets; establish standards to ensure operational excellence.
  4. Develop and implement AIMS.
  5. Coordinate with engineering design offices domestically and internationally, serving as the focal point for project reviews and technical matters.
  6. Drive the implementation and enhancement of an integrated medium to long-term AIMS for various asset types such as refineries, gas plants, LNG facilities, terminals, and pipelines.
  7. Benchmark the company against industry best practices, considering applicable regulations, codes, and standards.
  8. Establish assurance and reporting processes to ensure technical integrity barriers remain effective.
Minimum Requirements
  1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Material, or Electrical Engineering; a Master's degree is preferred.
  2. At least 20 years of professional experience as an asset integrity engineer in the Oil and Gas industry, with knowledge of international standards such as ASME and API.
  3. Certification as a Fundamental Engineer (F.E.) licensed.
  4. Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and networking skills.
  5. Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments.
  6. Knowledge of Risk Based Inspection (RBI), Fitness-for-Service (FFS), Asset Life Extension, and Decommissioning processes.
  7. Familiarity with Asset Performance Management tools and solutions.
