The opportunity


To build and Assembles GIS components & modules into complete bays and performs routine tests through a lean & flow production line with outstanding performance that is targeting the best quality, maximum cost saving and shortest delivery time. Control the quality of GIS Contribute actively to improving manufacturing process Maintain safe and clean work environment.


How you’ll make an impact


  • Fulfilling orders related work packages according to production data and instructions given by assigned foremen.


  • Performing assembly and repair activities according to the prepared work instructions, drawings, bill of materials, checklists, guidelines, and customer order data.


  • Performing and participating in routine test of GIS assembled units as well as the components and modules according to the prepared work instructions, drawings, checklists, guidelines, and customer order data.


  • Targeting the best performance in terms of quality, cost and delivery time.


  • Self-check of work packages’ results, filling out and confirm on assigned checklists and protocols.


  • Supporting of gathering product improvement comment/feedback from the GIS LSC (local Service Center) engineers.


  • Adequately handling of factory equipment and tools, maintain equipment and sustain proper continuous calibration.


  • Actively supporting teamwork, effectively communicating, and collaborating with internal customers or stakeholders or colleagues (assembly, testing, logistics...etc.).


  • Independently following the factory rules and guidelines related to safety, quality, environment, recycling and housekeeping.


  • Maintaining a safe working environment by following Hitachi Energy HSE guidelines and reporting any irregularities.


  • Contributing actively to continue improving process and Lean culture.


  • Providing feedback, sharing ideas and observations whenever possible.


  • Employee shall also carry out any tasks that are assigned by management necessary to fulfil the job Requirements.

Your background


  • A Diploma degree in electrical engineering is required.


  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in production facility (assembly & testing).


  • Understanding the lean concept & minimizing all 7 related wastes.


  • Reading and precise understanding of technical drawings and material lists.


  • Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
