  • Deliver engaging visual arts lessons aligned with IB curriculum frameworks (PYP, MYP).
  • Foster students' creativity, critical thinking, and appreciation for diverse artistic expressions.
  • Develop and implement unit plans, lesson plans, and assessments based on IB philosophy and practices.
  • Encourage student inquiry through conceptual understanding and reflective practice.
  • Guide students through the creative process including ideation, exploration of media, technique development, and final presentation.
  • Support students in building their IB Art portfolios and preparing for internal and external assessments.
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
  • Collaborate with other teachers and contribute to interdisciplinary planning and projects.
  • Participate in IB professional development and contribute to curriculum reviews.
  • Organize and curate student art exhibitions and participate in school-wide events.
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and well-stocked art classroom/studio space.
