A leading defense contractor is seeking an Army Aviation Quality Control Specialist to oversee quality control tasks and ensure the proper execution of maintenance procedures for helicopters in Saudi Arabia. Candidates must have extensive experience in Army Aviation, strong leadership, and communication skills. A valid US passport and security clearance are required for this on-site role.

The Army Aviation Quality Control Specialist (AH-64, UH-60, OH-58)
is responsible for efficient creation, maintenance, organization, coding and protection of business records and information to provide the Royal Saudi Land Forces Aviation Command (RSLFAC) with fully qualified Quality Control Specialists (15S/15T/15R) to assist in the Aviation Maintenance mission of theRSLFAC.
US Citizenship and a Valid US Passport are Required to obtain the required Security Clearance and to maintain facility and base access.
Augment the Aviation Intermediate Maintenance (AVIM) Company QualityControl Section, establishing Quality Control program implementation, job timereporting, aircraft modification and configuration control and coordination of aircraft flight requirements and activity.
Support the AVIM Company Quality Control Section in coordinating and directing activities between Aircraft maintenance and Logistics/Supply sections to provideharmonious and effective mission accomplishment.
Ensure the authorized quality plans and programs are properly executed and the Quality Control Officeris kept informed of overall results, conditions, and trends.
Assist the AVIM Quality Control Officer in planning,developing, publishing, and implementing sound quality control maintenanceprocedures for the effective administration, supervision, and operation of theaircraft quality control activities.
Assist in the scheduling of quality controlactivities to provide maximum availability of safe, flyable aircraft through efficient utilization of personnel.
Assist the AVIM Company Quality Control Officer in the preparation ofrecurring and nonrecurring reports depicting production data.
Will provide backup Quality Control Inspection of the UH-60, AH-64, and 406CS (OH-58D) series helicopters at the AVUM/AVIM levels.
Inspects and verifies proper completion and documentation of quality discrepancies, ensuring records are completed with appropriate forms.
May transfer active records to inactive or archival storage, convert paper records to digital copy, input data into computer systems, and/or destroy obsolete or unnecessary records.
Provides lower-level technicians guidance regarding established procedures according to directives, quality procedures, work standards and operational policies.
Perform other qualified duties as required.
Minimum Requirements:
A High school Diploma or Equivalent is Required at a minimum.
Six (6) years of recent US Army Aircraft organization experience ( AH-64, UH-60, or 406CS/OH-58D) , WITH a minimum of Two (2) years' experience in an Aviation QualityControl managerial role is Required.
Must have graduated from one of the US Army (15S, 15R or 15T) Technical Inspector Courses OR an equivalent OR have been a US Army (MTP) Maintenance Test pilot on the AH-64, UH-60, or 406CS/OH-58D.
Completion of the "US Army's" 15-series career management field Advanced Leadership Course AMOC (formerly BNCOC) is Preferred OR possess a valid (FAA) A&P Certificate.
Required working knowledge of Army AVUM, AVIM and Depot level logistics support which includes repair and overhaul procedures for airframes, aircraft engines, andaircraft components.
Extensive knowledge in US Army Aviation related sectors, Aviation Supply, Aircraft Maintenance, Aviation Quality Control, Aircraft ProductionControl and/or Aviation Safety.
B road working knowledge of Army Aircraft Maintenance, Quality Control techniques and standards, FAA regulations, and US Army technical publications.
Exceptional communication skills, leadership abilities, and personnel management skills are Required.
A valid Driver’s License is required and be capable of obtaining a Light Equipment Operator’s license.
Avalid US Passport is Required for travel to Saudi.
Must be able to obtain a Saudi Visa (Igama) and clear/pass the Saudi Visa Medical requirements for deployment to Saudi Arabia. (Recruiter will provide Visa requirements).
Security Clearance Requirements:
Must be able to obtain and maintain a US Govt Confidential Security Clearance . Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization. US Citizenship is Required for facility credentials/authorization to work at this facility, and to obtain a US Govt Security Clearance.
Physical and Additional Qualifications:
Must be fluent in the English language.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand Arabic is desirable.
Able to prioritize workload to maintain schedules on assigned projects.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Power Point, Access and Excel.
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
Occasionally lift objects up to 50 pounds.
Work may be outdoors in extreme weather conditions.
May be exposed to extreme noise from turbine engine aircraft.
May be exposed to fumes or airborne particles; may be exposed to electrical shock hazards or work near moving mechanical parts, vehicles, or aircraft.
May be required to travel, based on operation necessity, and mission requirements.
