Job summary

Job description

is responsible for efficient creation, maintenance, organization, coding, and protection of business records and information to provide the Royal Saudi Land Forces Aviation Command (RSLFAC) with fully qualified Quality Control Specialists (15S / 15T / 15R) to assist in the Aviation Maintenance mission of the RSLFAC.

US Citizenship and a Valid US Passport are required to obtain and maintain the necessary Security Clearance and facility access.

Augment the Aviation Intermediate Maintenance (AVIM) Company Quality Control Section by establishing program implementation, job time reporting, aircraft modification and configuration control, and coordination of aircraft flight requirements and activities.

Support the AVIM Company Quality Control Section in coordinating activities between Aircraft maintenance and Logistics / Supply sections to ensure effective mission accomplishment.

Ensure proper execution of authorized quality plans and programs, and keep the Quality Control Officer informed of overall results, conditions, and trends.

Assist in planning, developing, publishing, and implementing quality control maintenance procedures for effective administration, supervision, and operation of aircraft quality control activities.

Assist in scheduling quality control activities to maximize aircraft availability and safety.

Help prepare recurring and nonrecurring reports depicting production data.

Provide backup Quality Control Inspection for UH-60, AH-64, and 406CS (OH-58D) series helicopters at the AVUM / AVIM levels.

Inspect and verify proper completion and documentation of quality discrepancies, ensuring records are properly filled out.

Transfer active records to inactive or archival storage, convert paper records to digital formats, input data into computer systems, and destroy obsolete records as necessary.

Guide lower-level technicians on established procedures according to directives, quality procedures, work standards, and policies.

Perform other qualified duties as required.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Six (6) years of recent US Army Aircraft organization experience (AH-64, UH-60, or 406CS / OH-58D), with at least two (2) years in a managerial role in Aviation Quality Control.
  • Graduation from a US Army (15S, 15R, or 15T) Technical Inspector Course or an equivalent, or experience as a US Army (MTP) Maintenance Test Pilot on relevant aircraft.
  • Completion of the US Army's 15-series Advanced Leadership Course AMOC (preferred) or possession of a valid FAA A&P Certificate.
  • Knowledge of Army AVUM, AVIM, and Depot level logistics support, including repair and overhaul procedures.
  • Extensive knowledge of US Army Aviation sectors, Aviation Supply, Aircraft Maintenance, Quality Control, and Safety.
  • Broad knowledge of Army Aircraft Maintenance, FAA regulations, and technical publications.
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and personnel management skills.
  • A valid Driver’s License and ability to obtain a Light Equipment Operator’s license.
  • A valid US Passport is required for travel to Saudi Arabia.
  • Ability to obtain a Saudi Visa and pass the Saudi Visa Medical requirements.

Security Clearance Requirements:

  • Must obtain and maintain a US Govt Confidential Security Clearance.
  • Must obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization.
  • US Citizenship is required for credentials and security clearance.

Physical and Additional Qualifications:

  • Fluent in English; knowledge of Arabic is desirable.
  • Ability to prioritize workload and maintain schedules.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Occasionally lift objects up to 50 pounds.
  • Work outdoors in extreme weather and noise conditions.
  • May be exposed to fumes, electrical hazards, and moving parts.
  • Willing to travel as required.
