Job description

Armament Technical Instructor

Grade: 6

Location: Dhahran, Saudi Arabia

JOB PURPOSE

BAE Systems is the UK Government’s nominated Prime Contractor under the Government-to-Government arrangements that provide equipment, support, and training to Saudi Arabia. We maintain Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) aircraft and train RSAF and Royal Saudi Naval Force personnel in the safe use of their aircraft, equipment, and weapons.

BAE Systems Saudi Arabia supports the Saudi Arabian National Agenda, including Saudisation and the development of Saudi National capabilities through the growth of local Partner Companies, reinforcing Industrialisation and Partnerships.

RECRUITMENT SPECIFICATION
  • A City & Guilds Level 3 Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance (Military Aircraft Weapons Maintenance) or equivalent.
  • English language proficiency: IELTS minimum overall score of 5.0, with speaking and listening bands at 5.0, for non-native speakers.
  • Graduate of an advanced military trade school or EASA Part 147 training establishment with 5 years of practical experience in aircraft Armament systems.
  • A recognized formal instructor qualification.
  • At least 2 years of recent teaching/instructional experience.
  • Familiarity with a Defence College of Aeronautical Engineering (DCAE) Cosford Syllabus is desirable.
  • Ability to deliver course material clearly in appropriate English.
