Key Responsibilities:
  • Site Supervision:Oversee daily construction and mining operations in the beneficiation and mining areas, including civil, mechanical, electrical, and piping (MEP) works.


  • Execution Oversight:Monitor contractor and subcontractor activities to ensure compliance with project scope, technical specifications, schedules, and safety protocols.


  • Planning & Coordination:Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Commissioning (EPCC) teams to ensure seamless project execution in your area of responsibility.


  • Safety & Compliance:Enforce project and legal HSE (Health, Safety, Environment) requirements. Lead toolbox talks and ensure all personnel adhere to safety practices.


  • Quality Control:Collaborate with QA/QC teams to verify quality compliance and resolve field issues that could impact structural or operational integrity.


  • Progress Monitoring:Track construction and mining progress, identify risks, and support the development of mitigation plans. Submit daily and weekly progress reports.


  • Stakeholder Interface:Liaise with project management, engineering, and operations teams to resolve technical and logistical challenges promptly.


  • Pre-Commissioning Support:Assist in system walk-downs, punch list management, and support for commissioning and start-up activities related to beneficiation and mining systems.


Qualifications & Experience:
  • Degree in Mining Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or equivalent trade qualifications.


  • Experience in large-scale mining and mineral processing (beneficiation) projects.


  • Demonstrated leadership in managing site-based construction and mining operations.


  • Knowledge of international and local codes/standards, including environmental and safety legislation.
