What You Will Do

The Area Sales Manager is a key role reporting directly to the Regional Sales Director of Middle East. You will be based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and will be part of the JCI Security Products (Access Control, CCTV Systems) team to enhance JCI's market position. Your primary focus will be managing existing distributor channels, developing strategic plans to increase sales volume, and opening new accounts. You will oversee indirect sales channels, promote business growth, and increase sales opportunities by collaborating with the sales team, contractors, consultants, and end users.

How You Will Do It

As an Area Sales Manager for Security products, you will prepare regular reports by collecting quantitative data to analyze market trends, competitive landscape, product gaps versus market demands, and propose growth strategies for each channel in the territory. You will be active in the field to identify new channels, visit and develop existing ones, train distributors, build relationships, and support their marketing activities to maximize margins and increase market share. You will develop and deliver product demonstrations that meet technical and commercial requirements. Additionally, you will develop competitive sales strategies, support sales activities, and follow up on new business opportunities with key partners and customers.

You are perseverant, tenacious, and consistent in your approach, with excellent planning, organization, and time management skills to handle multiple priorities effectively.

Required

What we look for

  • A degree in Electrical/Electronics or Telecommunication Engineering or equivalent
  • A minimum of 10 years experience in indirect sales channels within ELV Security Products, specifically Access Control, CCTV Systems, and Intrusion Systems
  • At least 5 years experience in establishing new channels and distributors in Saudi Arabia
  • Proficiency in developing and executing new business and market growth strategies
  • Ability to generate new business through existing and potential customer networks
  • Strong presentation skills and the ability to articulate business values to consultants, developers, and key decision-makers
  • Ability to develop, set, and execute sales strategies and rolling sales plans
  • Fluent in English and Arabic
  • Willingness and ability to travel
