An innovative organization is seeking a highly experienced Operations Manager to lead the launch and scaling of Ultra Fast Groceries. This role focuses on Last Mile Operations and requires a hands-on leader with strong project management skills. If so, Ultra Fast Groceries is looking for a highly experienced operations manager for the role of Operations leader to launch and scale Ultra Fast service.
The successful candidate will be responsible for Last Mile Operations and select other cross-functional start-up activities, championing, challenging, and sometimes signing off on network standards, executing assigned pre-launch tasks, and being accountable for building results from launch until the sustained phase. They will be a natural self-starter who is comfortable leading large, complex facility projects. They will have a true hands-on approach, strong project management skills, and be an effective communicator. Post-launch, the leader will transition from a project management role to lead the Last Mile Operations.
To succeed in this position, you need to be comfortable interfacing and driving various functional teams, including finance, business, HR, operations, real estate, projects, and procurement, at all levels of the organization. An open mind, drive, ambition, and the ability to deal with ambiguity will help you stay innovative within our culture.
