Job description

The Area Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the retail stores within KSA and Bahrain. The role includes ensuring store performance meets business objectives, delivering exceptional customer service, leading and developing store managers and their teams, and driving consistent operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Store Operations Management:
  • Oversee the daily operations of retail stores within the assigned area.
  • Ensure all stores adhere to company standards in terms of presentation, operations, and customer service.
  • Monitor store performance, sales, and profitability, taking necessary action to meet or exceed targets.
  1. Team Leadership:
  • Lead, motivate, and develop a team of store managers to achieve company goals.
  • Conduct regular store visits to ensure high performance and provide on-the-ground support.
  • Facilitate training and development programs to enhance team performance and store operations.
  • Manage recruitment, training, and onboarding of new team members in collaboration with the HR department.
  1. Sales and Revenue Growth:
  • Develop and execute strategies to drive sales and maximize profitability across the area.
  • Analyze sales reports and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective measures.
  1. Customer Service Excellence:
  • Ensure all stores deliver an exceptional customer experience, following company guidelines and procedures.
  • Address customer issues or complaints that escalate beyond store level.
  • Implement customer feedback strategies to improve service and engagement.
  1. Inventory and Merchandising:
  • Ensure stores maintain adequate inventory levels by monitoring stock reports and coordinating with the logistics team.
  • Collaborate with store managers on visual merchandising and product placement to optimize sales.
  • Execute promotional campaigns and ensure store teams are trained and informed.
  1. Reporting and Communication:
  • Provide regular updates to senior management on store performance, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., marketing, HR, finance) to ensure smooth operations.
  • Maintain clear communication with store managers and staff, fostering an open and positive work environment.
