Job Description

• Perform inspections of structures, buildings, renovations, and interior projects toensure conformance with approved plans, specifications, construction methods and materials.
• Participate in resolving non-conformities; conduct final site inspections and hand over acceptance.
• Develop and provide inputs for Inspection Test Plans (ITP).
• Document inspection outcomes by completing detailed reports and performance records.
• Perform inspections to ensure conformity to specifications and communicateresults via work inspection request (WIR) and material inspection request (MIR) processes.
• Perform final acceptance inspections by confirming adherence to specifications, conductvisual / measurement tests, returnproducts for re-work, and confirmre-work.
• Input data into Quality database.
• Verify and validate the structural soundness of buildings, structures, and construction projects.
• Assess the structural quality of buildings, and structures ensuring compliance withrelevant building codes and contract specifications.
• Review blueprints and building plans.
• Inspect building structure, plumbing, electrical, sewage and heating/cooling systems for safety and specification compliance.
• Measure dimensions to verify alignment, elevation and leveling of buildings and structures.
• Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance to specifications.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience as an inspector for construction projects in case of engineering degree holder and 12+ years in case of diploma holder
• Engineering degree or Diploma in Building Inspection, Civil, Mechanicalor Architectural Engineering or equivalent
• Demonstrated knowledge in ASTM, IBC & Glass Reinforced Concrete Association (GRCA).
  Knowledge on ACI, AAMA, ANSI, and BSI.
