About the role:

Zutari is seeking a qualified Architectural Inspector to join our team in Medinah, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will play a critical role in overseeing architectural works on-site, ensuring compliance with specifications, standards, and project requirements. This is a key position within our project supervision team, contributing to the successful delivery of high-quality built environments.

Responsibilities:

1. Inspect and monitor architectural work to ensure compliance with approved drawings, materials, specifications, and local codes.
2. Coordinate closely with the contractor, consultants, and other inspectors on-site to ensure work is executed according to design intent and schedule.
3. Review architectural shop drawings and material submittals and raise comments or non-conformances as necessary.
4. Document observations, progress, and issues in daily inspection reports.
5. Ensure workmanship meets Zutari’s and client quality standards.
6. Attend regular site coordination meetings and provide input on architectural issues.
7. Liaise with the Resident Engineer and escalate unresolved site issues promptly.
8. Monitor and report on architectural construction progress and assist in managing punch lists and project closeout.

Qualifications & Experience:

1. Diploma or bachelor’s degree in architecture or architectural engineering.
2. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in architectural site supervision, ideally on large-scale or high-profile building projects.
3. Strong knowledge of building construction methods, architectural detailing, and materials.
4. Familiarity with relevant Saudi Arabian codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
5. Previous experience working in Saudi Arabia or the GCC is preferred.
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Proficient in using digital inspection tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
