Job Purpose
The Project Design Architect is responsible for developing architectural concepts and detailed designs for a range of building and infrastructure projects. This role involves coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure design excellence, functionality, and compliance with client requirements and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and present architectural concepts, schematic designs, and detailed drawings for projects.
- Prepare architectural plans, elevations, sections, and 3D models using advanced engineering software.
- Coordinate with structural, electrical, and mechanical engineers to ensure design integration.
- Review design specifications and ensure compliance with building codes, standards, and regulations.
- Conduct site visits to monitor design implementation and provide technical guidance during construction.
- Collaborate with clients and project stakeholders to understand requirements and propose design solutions.
- Participate in preparing project documentation, reports, and presentations.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies, materials, and design trends in architecture.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Architectural Engineering or Architecture.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project design, preferably in similar large-scale or commercial projects.
- Proficient in engineering and design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Lumion, and Adobe Suite.
- Strong understanding of architectural detailing, design principles, and construction methods.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively.
