Job Description

Primary Role:

To perform day-to-day inspection and test activities, ensuring that all construction and fabrication works comply with Aramco standards, project specifications, and applicable codes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspection Execution:
  • Conduct inspections as per ITP (Inspection and Test Plans).
  • Verify material compliance with approved materials submittals and Aramco standards.
  • Perform visual, dimensional, and fit-up inspections for welding, piping, civil, electrical, or instrumentation works (as applicable).
  • Documentation & Reporting:
  • Prepare and maintain inspection records (RFI, MIR, WIR).
  • Complete Aramco-standard checklists and forms.
  • Ensure accurate logging of inspection results in line with project procedures.
  • Compliance Monitoring:
  • Verify that work is carried out as per IFC (Issued for Construction) drawings and specifications.
  • Monitor subcontractors to ensure quality assurance compliance.
  • Coordination:
  • Coordinate inspections with the Aramco PMT/PMC and client representatives.
  • Attend joint inspections and sign-off with Aramco inspectors.
  • Non-Conformance Control:
  • Identify, report, and document NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports).
  • Ensure corrective actions are implemented and verified.
  • Verify calibration certificates and ensure inspection tools are in good condition.

Primary Role:

To oversee and manage the Quality Control team and ensure overall compliance with Aramco quality systems, procedures, and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervision & Management:
  • Supervise QC Inspectors across all disciplines (civil, mechanical, E&I, etc.).
  • Allocate inspection tasks and monitor performance.
  • Ensure inspectors are Aramco-approved and qualified.
  • Planning & Coordination:
  • Develop and update Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) and quality control procedures.
  • Coordinate with Construction, Engineering, and HSE teams to schedule inspections.
  • Interface with Aramco:
  • Serve as the focal point for all quality matters with Aramco QA/QC representatives.
  • Attend QA/QC meetings and coordinate audits.
  • NCR & Quality Issue Management:
  • Review and evaluate NCRs; assist in root cause analysis.
  • Ensure timely resolution and closure of quality issues.
  • Training & Development:
  • Conduct toolbox talks or briefings for quality staff.
  • Identify training needs and maintain a competent QC team.
  • Documentation & Quality Reporting:
  • Review and approve inspection reports, welding maps, test packages.
  • Ensure that final quality dossiers and handover documents meet Aramco requirements.
  • Project Quality Leadership:
  • Promote a quality culture on site.
  • Ensure the Quality Management System (QMS) is effectively implemented.
