To lead and manage the production of pitches and marketing content in Arabic, contributing to raising the profile and winning work for the Middle East & Africa (MEA) region.
The Role
Responsible for generating pitches and marketing content in Arabic, enabling the firm to achieve a more profitable return on investment in this area, both financially and through client perception of Clyde & Co.
The candidate will support the wider team and business in creating, maintaining, and improving Arabic pitch resources and marketing materials such as directory submissions, credentials databases, pitch standard wording, case studies, and marketing content, as well as delivering training where needed.
Key Responsibilities
Pitches and pursuits
Review RFP requirements to facilitate go/no-go discussions and develop appropriate pitch strategies.
Manage the production and delivery of bids and tenders, working with relevant partners, BD staff, and support teams such as design and translations.
Plan and manage each stage of the pitch process from receipt of RFP to final proposal submission.
Build rapport with partners and understand their expectations, ensuring requests are fulfilled and teams are kept informed.
Coach and rehearse lawyers for beauty parades, guiding presentation content and approach, overseeing rehearsals, and producing compelling materials.
Adhere to the firm’s risk management processes and internal procedures, identifying risks early and informing senior management of potential issues.
Conduct debriefs on bid wins and losses, gather feedback, and share new approaches and client insights with the team.
Maintain accurate management information on bids through systems like InterAction.
Create and improve pitch resources such as credentials databases, standard wording, and case studies.
Understand the firm’s full range of products, services, and capabilities.
Contribute to legal directory and awards submissions, integrating content into pitch resources.
Participate in regional and global projects to enhance proposal efficiency and competitiveness.
Marketing and Communications
Implement regional marketing and communication strategies aligned with MEA growth priorities.
Develop Arabic assets for multichannel marketing campaigns.
Utilize marketing systems and software effectively.
Manage production of brochures and marketing materials.
Create and update content on the website, intranet, and social media platforms.
Coordinate client mailings via Vuture.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will have:

Outstanding written communication skills.
Experience as a BD Pitch practitioner at manager level within a fast-paced professional services environment, preferably legal.
Knowledge of managing complex tender processes with multiple information streams.
Experience applying client, practice, and sector strategies to proposals.
Track record of pitching to Government entities in the Middle East.
Commercial acumen to understand client needs and business issues, and how the firm can profitably deliver services.
Strong copywriting skills and understanding of branding and design collaboration.
Experience with directory and award submissions.
Effective negotiation skills and the ability to influence partners and decision makers.
Strong IT skills, including CRM systems (preferably InterAction), Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Ability to work under pressure, quickly assimilate information, and produce cohesive documents.
Interpersonal skills including confidence, diplomacy, and credibility.
