Job summary

A leading environmental monitoring company is seeking an AQMS Service Engineer to handle installation and maintenance of air quality monitoring systems. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience and proficiency with instruments such as OPSIS and Thermo Fisher. Good communication skills in English are required, and knowledge of Arabic is a plus. This is a full-time, on-site role in Saudi Arabia, with travel expected for site visits.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in Air Quality Monitoring systems.
  • Hands-on experience with at least one AQMS instrument: OPSIS, Thermo Fisher, Teledyne, Chromatotec, Synspec.
  • Knowledge of data communication protocols for AQMS integration is an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Install, commission, and configure AQMS equipment at client sites.
  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
  • Calibrate and troubleshoot monitoring instruments.
  • Provide technical support and training to end-users.

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Air Quality Monitoring System (AQMS) Service Engineer to handle installation, commissioning, servicing, maintenance, and calibration of air quality monitoring equipment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with at least one of the following instruments: OPSIS, Thermo Fisher, Teledyne, Chromatotec, Synspec.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, commission, and configure AQMS equipment at client sites.
  • Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and system upgrades.
  • Calibrate and troubleshoot monitoring instruments to ensure accurate data collection.
  • Provide technical support and training to end-users.
  • Document service reports, calibration certificates, and maintenance records.
  • Liaise with manufacturers and suppliers for spare parts and technical issues.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental monitoring standards and client requirements.
  • Support in system integration with data acquisition and reporting software.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics or Instrumentation Engineering (mandatory).
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Air Quality Monitoring systems.
  • Hands-on experience with at least one AQMS instrument: OPSIS, Thermo Fisher, Teledyne, Chromatotec, Synspec.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in using calibration tools, gas analyzers, and related AQMS equipment.
  • Knowledge of data communication protocols for AQMS integration is an advantage.
  • Good communication skills in English; Arabic knowledge is an advantage.
  • Willingness to travel within Saudi Arabia for site visits.
