Job summary

Roche is seeking an Application Specialist to deliver superior application support for the designated Roche portfolio, in close collaboration with sales and field service teams.

You will implement global standards, maintain rigorous case reporting, and identify commercial opportunities through collaboration with Sales. English proficiency is required; Arabic is a plus; degree in Life Sciences and 2+ years in IVD/medical devices preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Laboratory, Biochemical or equivalent.
• At least two years of practical application experience in IVD or medical device industry.
• Fluent in English language both spoken and written.
• Arabic is a plus, or any spoken language in the market.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a customer-centric mindset.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, consistent application support aligned with evolving client requirements and strategic business objectives.
• Deliver industry-leading support utilizing established systems and methodology to maintain high client satisfaction standards.
• Engage in continuous professional development to maintain robust expertise across all assigned product lines.
• Ensure continuous operational coverage during core and extended hours in accordance with contractual service level agreements.
• Proactively formulate and execute strategic initiatives based on customer satisfaction metrics and ongoing stakeholder feedback.
• Conduct formal system commissioning, technical configuration and user instruction.

This role encompasses providing comprehensive application and software assistance for the designated product portfolio in close collaboration with sales and field service personnel to deliver high-value service solutions.

Additional responsibilities include implementing global Roche application standards, maintaining rigorous case reporting and follow-up protocols, and collaborating with the sales division to identify and capitalize on commercial opportunities.
