Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Application Support Specialist. The ideal candidate will have 6-10 years of hands-on experience providing L2/L3 support for application-related issues, managing business-critical applications, and troubleshooting system-related issues. Key Responsibilities:

• Application Administration: Provide L2/L3 technical support for critical applications, ensuring optimal performance and availability.
• Network & System Management: Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain network and application infrastructures, ensuring seamless operation.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve application and system issues across various environments.
• Cloud & Virtualization: Experience in managing cloud applications within GCP and OCI. Utilize containerization technologies (Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker, etc.) for efficient management.
• Security & Vulnerability Management: Remediate application vulnerabilities, ensuring that all security patches and updates are applied promptly.
• Automation: Use automation tools to streamline application processes, configuration management, and monitoring tasks.
• Change Management: Analyze, test, and deploy changes to the application environment, ensuring minimal impact on existing systems.
• Monitoring: Implement and manage monitoring tools to track the health of all application components and proactively address issues.
• Documentation & Reporting: Generate monthly reports highlighting changes, issues, and resolutions. Maintain clear and detailed documentation for all system configurations and updates.
• Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams and vendors to ensure the smooth operation and continuous improvement of IT systems.

Requirements:

• 6+ years of experience in system administration, application support, or related IT roles.
• Strong technical knowledge in managing both cloud-based and on-premise infrastructures.
• Proficiency in managing and supporting applications in various environments (Windows, Linux).
• Strong understanding of network protocols and troubleshooting.
• Experience with cloud platforms (GCP, OCI) and containerization technologies (Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker).
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and meet deadlines.
