Job description

We are looking for an innovative applications engineer to join our software engineering team. You will be consulting with our clients to relay their software needs and preferences to the development team, developing software applications, and demonstrating software products and prototypes.

To ensure success as an applications engineer, you should demonstrate advanced software development skills and extensive experience in determining clients' software needs. A top-notch applications engineer will be someone whose software design expertise translates into user-friendly and highly efficient applications. You will also need to implement and support the customer on site and remotely.

Responsibilities

• Knowledge on Process & Automation Systems Engineering including ISA 95 standards for enterprise and control systems layers of automation.
• Willing to work on integration and configuration of digital solution including but not limited to Manufacturing Operation Management (MOM), Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Industrial Mobility, Asset Performance Management (APM) and Digital Twins, implementation and support of industrial data historians.
• Knowledge on Digital Technologies [Information Technology (IT), Engineering Technology (ET) & Operation Technology (OT)], Software Platforms & Vendors Products.
• Designing, building, and configuring applications to meet business process and application requirements.
• Creating and supporting technology solutions that meet client requirements from analysis to implementation.
• Working with an Agile mindset to create value across projects of multiple scopes and scale
• Interpreting and translating client requirements into a technology solution that can be configured from a standard set of offerings
• Demonstrated ability to continuously adapt to new technologies and learn quickly
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
• Implementation and support experience industrial historians such as Aveva PI, IP21, PHD is required.
• Implementation and support experience on System Platform, Cloudera applications is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Systems Engineering or Process Control Engineering or Chemical Engineer.

Experience

3 – 5 years of related experience.
