ROLE OVERVIEW

The Analyst is expected to support SMO Strategy Manager in developing, updating, and coordinating the internal strategy documents. This includes regularly updating sections of strategy documents and initiative charters, conducting research and analysis, performing data modeling, creating fact packs, and collaborating with stakeholders to gather necessary information. Additionally, the role involves conducting ad hoc research and analysis and performing data modeling to support the implementation of strategic initiatives.

ROLE COMPETENCIES & ACTIVITIES

The Lead Analyst responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

Strategic Studies
  • Support the development and regular refresh of internal strategy documents, through research, analysis, and stakeholder collaboration.
  • Create fact packs, support knowledge capture efforts and draft sections of strategy documents using insights from market research, stakeholder input, and third-party studies.
  • Conduct ad hoc research, analysis and data modeling to support the implementation of strategic initiatives. Support SMO Strategy Manager with leadership updates and SMO-related discussions.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in strategy consulting (preferably with Tier 1, Tier 2, or Big 4 firms).
  • Strong research and data modeling skills to support the creation of strategy documents and decision-making processes.
  • Ability to see the bigger picture, generate actionable insights, and apply a collaborative approach to solving complex challenges.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate complex issues in a straightforward way.
  • Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
  • NEOM sector/industry experience (e.g., Hospitality, Leisure, Technology, etc.) is an advantage.
  • Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business or related discipline.
  • Experience in GCC countries is an advantage.
