JOB DESCRIPTION

Title: Ammonia / Syngas Technical Professional Leader

POSITION SUMMARY:

As an Ammonia / Syngas Process Engineer, you are responsible for performing process technology related engineering works as well as leading project teams and ensuring compliance with quality, timeline, and costs.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

You will function as a technical specialist who makes decisions and provides recommendations that have a far-reaching impact on extensive engineering and related activities of the company. Your tasks will include the following activities in engineering, delivery of process deliverables, and site services for ammonia and syngas projects in KSA based on KBR technologies:

1. Participate/lead in the development of proposals and design packages for KBR licensed Ammonia, syngas, and hydrogen technologies, which includes establishing process design basis, development of process options, and optimization of selected design.
2. Perform detailed process design calculations and develop process design simulations.
3. Participate/lead in project kick-off meetings, PFD/P&ID reviews, or other client-facing meetings as necessary.
4. Participate/lead as process advisor in startup and commissioning activities.
5. Maintain effective communication with project team members, sales team, and technology leadership.
6. Perform other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

• BS in Chemical Engineering required.
• 12 years relevant experience in Ammonia/Syngas and related process design (process designs, FEED, field work), with a minimum of 8-10 years Ammonia experience.
• Solid knowledge of Chemical Engineering disciplines, process design tools, and procedures.
• Operational experience is a plus.
• Experience in Process Simulation Software such as Aspen Plus™.
• Ability to perform under pressure and manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Ability to travel and go on field assignments.
