An established industry player is seeking an entry-level professional to join their operations team. This role involves the installation and management of cable services at field sites, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards. Under general supervision, responsible for professionally installing cable in field site hole and spool the cable as it is pulled from the hole. Load, perform pre-trip inspection, transport cable spool from the shop to the field site location, and rig up. Band cable to the tubing as the cable is run into the hole, splice or pack off cable, and handle pulls of cable to the spool. Responsible for unloading cable at the shop and reloading for the next trip. Prepare paperwork including DOT requirements, IFTA reports, billable and non-billable hours, and mileage. Job tasks, correctly performed, impact cost containment, efficiency, profitability, or operations. Skills are typically acquired through successful completion of high school or similar education and 1 to 2 years of experience. Develops and demonstrates general knowledge of all cable services and related products, and in-depth knowledge of cable tools and related products. Promotes safety awareness and environmental consciousness, complying with all safety and environmental procedures and regulations. Ensures compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations. A Class A CDL license is required. Actively participates in quality improvement processes. All employees must be able to follow written and verbal instructions and effectively communicate with peers and superiors. Must be able to work as an effective team member. Basic mathematical skills and reading and writing comprehension are required.
