Job description

We are currently looking for a dedicated Clinical Instructor to join our dynamic nursing team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to mentor and guide nursing students through their clinical rotations, shaping the next generation of skilled and compassionate nurses.

The Clinical Instructor will be responsible for supervising and mentoring nursing students during their clinical placements in healthcare settings. This role will involve guiding students through hands-on patient care experiences, assessing their clinical performance, and ensuring they are well prepared for a successful nursing career. The Clinical Instructor will collaborate with nursing faculty to ensure the highest standards of nursing education are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Clinical Supervision: Supervise nursing students during clinical rotations in hospitals, clinics, or other healthcare facilities.
  2. Mentoring and Support: Provide ongoing support, guidance, and constructive feedback to students, helping them develop both clinical and professional competencies.
  3. Assessment and Evaluation: Monitor and evaluate students’ clinical performance, providing feedback on their progress and suggesting areas for improvement.
  4. Collaboration: Work closely with faculty to integrate clinical experiences with course content and ensure a cohesive learning experience for students.
  5. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of student performance, including evaluations, attendance, and clinical competencies.
  6. Professional Development: Stay up to date with the latest clinical practices, nursing education trends, and healthcare advancements through continuous professional development.
Requirements
  1. Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) required.
  2. Experience: At least 1 year of clinical nursing experience in medical-surgical, critical care. Previous teaching or clinical supervision experience is preferred.
  3. Skills: Strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to provide constructive feedback in a clinical learning environment.
