About The Role
We are pleased to announce an exciting opportunity to join Qatar Airways Ground Services as an Airport Services Duty Supervisor based in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Reporting directly to the Duty Officer, you will supervise your team to deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring passengers receive the award-winning 5-star service Qatar Airways is renowned for. You will also support the Airport Services Manager when needed and demonstrate excellent skills in handling flight delays, disruptions, denied boarding, and other challenges.
Key Accountabilities Include
- Act as station coordinator in liaison with ground handling agents and Qatar Airways.
- Ensure progress towards on-time flight closure and passenger boarding by supervising the airport team to achieve on-time performance.
- Supervise the airport team to ensure on-time flight closure and overall performance.
- Plan efficient duty allocations of manpower during duty periods for Customer Service Agents.
- Support the Airport Services Duty Officer during flight disruptions, misconnections, and passenger-related issues.
- Perform aircraft turnaround checks (ATC) as assigned to ensure safe operation of Qatar Airways ground ramp services.
- Generate reports, maintain a tidy workplace, and support the Airport Services Manager.
- Serve as the primary contact for agents needing assistance with questions, problems, or discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with safety, security, quality, and environmental policies and procedures to deliver high-quality, safe, and environmentally responsible service.

Qualifications and Skills
- Relevant college or university qualification.
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in an airline or reputable ground handling operations at a supervisory level.
- Excellent communication skills and fluency in English.
- Knowledge of weight and balance, ramp handling, and dangerous goods regulations.
- Ability to perform duties under pressure while maintaining high customer service standards.
- Understanding of conditions of carriage, international civil aviation safety, and security procedures.
- Experience in passenger services, baggage services, ground operations, dangerous goods regulations, and ramp handling.
- High level of computer literacy.
- Strong customer focus and service delivery skills.
