Job description

Morson Talent are recruiting for an Aircraft Ground Equipment Technician to support Tornado operations in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.

Job Purpose:

This role involves scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of Aircraft Ground Equipment (AGE) in support of Tornado operations at Dhahran. You will ensure maintenance is conducted in accordance with maintenance policies, regulatory frameworks, and quality management systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Perform engineering and maintenance tasks within the AGE shop.

  2. Ensure maintenance activities comply with approved procedures and safety standards.

  3. Correctly utilise electronic data systems for maintenance tracking.

  4. Maintain workshop tools and ensure calibration schedules are followed.

  5. Assist the Supervisor in ensuring all AGE equipment is serviceable and available for operations.

  6. Implement FOD control and good housekeeping practices.

  7. Train, mentor, and support personnel as required.

  8. Provide standby cover as required for squadron operations.

Requirements:

Essential:

  1. Relevant industry experience in maintenance and servicing of AGE.

  2. Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and fault-finding.

Desirable:

  1. Multi-skilled with experience in hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

  2. Aerospace/defence industry experience.

  3. Familiarity with engineering procedures within a military environment.

  4. Previous experience with Tornado AGE or plant maintenance.
