We are looking for an Air Freight Specialist in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

In this role, you will:

• Execute AFR Operations/Customer Service plans to provide air freight forwarding for internal and external customers.
• Assess and interpret requirements of the freight control center and support the operations team with necessary details and instructions.
• Implement freight administration tasks, including allocations and reservations on planned line hauls and flights.
• Develop and execute plans for air freight products, such as perishables, pharmaceuticals, and aviation.
• Identify opportunities to expand business with new clients and improve customer service.
• Maintain relationships with existing clients, conduct visits, and ensure customer retention.
• Track account performance and prepare monthly reports for management.
• Respond to pricing inquiries and execute pricing strategies efficiently.
• Handle shipment documentation, develop shipping tenders, and ensure timely submission of documents.
• Identify opportunities to enhance productivity and resource utilization.
• Analyze processes and contribute to system improvements to enhance service quality.
• Resolve issues in day-to-day delivery and implement practices to increase efficiency.

In the area of AFR products, you will:

• Create or confirm transport orders, perform bookings, and optimize bookings.
• Prepare, control, and distribute import/export documents.
• Identify supplier performance issues and propose improvements.
• Update customs shipment information and resolve customer issues.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience/qualification.
• Over 4 years of relevant work experience.
