Job summary

atmaal is seeking an AI Integration Engineer to develop high-performance backend services and to integrate AI solutions with internal systems and third-party platforms. The role involves designing robust APIs (RESTful and SOAP), implementing secure auth mechanisms, and deploying containerized services in Kubernetes environments.

You will work closely with frontend, data engineering, and DevOps teams to ensure scalable, secure, and low-latency integrations across the AI & Data function.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• 3-7 years of experience developing high-performance backend services.
• Strong hands-on experience with Python and Node.js.
• Proven experience building and maintaining RESTful and SOAP APIs.
• Experience implementing OAuth 2.0, JWT, and role-based access control for secure integrations.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and scalable backend architectures.
• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.

Responsibilities

• Oversee data ingestion, cleaning, and labeling processes to ensure data quality before model training.

Job Purpose

The AI Integration Engineer will be responsible for developing high-performance backend services using Python and Node.js, while ensuring adherence to clean coding and secure development standards. The role involves designing, documenting, and maintaining robust APIs including RESTful and SOAP services for both internal platforms and external third-party integrations.

The engineer will implement secure authentication mechanisms, caching layers such as Redis and Memcached, and containerized deployments on Kubernetes environments (OKE) to ensure high availability, scalability, and low-latency operations. The role also requires close collaboration with frontend, data engineering, and DevOps teams to deliver reliable end-to-end solutions.
