Job summary

Air Products is screening a CO-OP for its new technology center in Dhahran Techno Valley, SA. You will work on Data Science, Machine Learning and Deep Learning techniques for chemical engineering and smart sensors, focusing on learning, Python coding, and best practices for AI algorithms in industrial settings.

You will validate methods, troubleshoot data pipelines, and apply algorithms to field data, with emphasis on sound and image processing, to improve performance and reliability in

Qualifications

• Familiarity with Numerical Methods or Deep Learning or Machine Learning or Data Science.
• Hands-on experience in Python; alternatively C, C++, VBA or R.
• Experience applying AI algorithms to data processing, sound or image processing, data fusion, or software integration.

Responsibilities

• Understand and validate DS/DL/ML methods for the application.
• Troubleshoot firmware installation and data pipeline setup.
• Test algorithms from developer communities and evaluate with open-source code.
• Record and pre-process field data (sound & image) and integrate into application software.
• Apply DS/ML/DL/SP algorithms to field data and derive performance metrics and improvements.
• Document and present test cases and best practices.
