Sarj.ai is seeking an AI deployment lead in Riyadh to drive customer-centric AI solutions from requirements to deployment. You will translate needs into clear technical specs, align cross-functional teams, and manage timelines to ensure timely delivery.

You will coordinate with data scientists, engineers, and product leads, maintain trusted customer relationships, and own the delivery process while challenging timelines and expectations when needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a customer-facing role involving technical delivery or consulting.
• Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts, data workflows and model deployment processes.
• Ability to discuss technical trade-offs with engineering teams.
• Experience with managing stakeholder relationships and demanding customers.
• Delivery and project management skills with a high level of ownership.
• Excellent attention to detail while managing multiple moving parts.

Role Overview

As an AI deployment lead , you'll sit at the intersection of our customers, product, and engineering teams, owning the delivery of solutions from initial requirements through deployment. You’ll work closely with customers to understand their needs, translate them into clear technical requirements, and ensure our teams deliver outstanding results. This role is about more than just keeping projects on track, it’s about managing expectations, solving problems, and exercising sound judgment under pressure.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with customers to identify high-impact problems and define AI-driven product features to address them.

• Convert customer requirements into clear technical specifications and use cases for internal teams.

• Oversee sprints and project timelines, ensuring timely and high-quality solution delivery.

• Serve as the bridge between customers and internal teams including data scientists, engineers, and product leads.

• Build trusted relationships and ensure the long-term success of deployed solutions.
  Own customer delivery as the primary point of contact throughout implementation, ensuring expectations, timelines, and outcomes are clearly managed.

• Manage difficult conversations with demanding stakeholders, especially when requirements, timelines, or expectations need to be challenged.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a customer-facing role involving technical delivery, implementation, consulting, solutions engineering, technical account management, or a similar function.

• Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts, data workflows, and model deployment processes.

• Ability to discuss and assess technical trade-offs with engineering teams.

• Strong experience working directly with customers and managing stakeholder relationships.

• Comfortable working with demanding customers and maintaining composure under pressure.

• Demonstrated delivery and project management skills with a high level of ownership.

• Excellent attention to detail while managing multiple moving parts.

• Strong communication and negotiation skills, including resetting expectations when necessary.

• Good judgment: knowing when to push, when to compromise, and when to say no.

• Willingness to challenge both customers and internal teams constructively.

• Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable operating in ambiguous and fast-changing environments.
