Overview:
The Senior AI Data Scientist plays a key role in designing, developing, and operationalizing AI/ML models to solve high-impact problems across ADC’s business and network domains. This role works closely with data engineers, business analysts, and product teams to deliver models that drive decision-making, automation, and service innovation.
Responsibilities:
- Develop machine learning and deep learning models for use cases such as network optimization, customer segmentation, predictive maintenance, and demand forecasting.
- Analyze large datasets from structured and unstructured sources to extract insights and prepare training datasets.
- Work with business stakeholders to define AI problems, select modeling approaches, and quantify expected impact.
- Build, train, test, and evaluate ML models using industry-standard libraries and frameworks.
- Optimize models for scalability and deployment, ensuring performance in real-time or batch environments.
- Collaborate with MLOps and engineering teams to deploy models into production and monitor their ongoing performance.
- Stay updated on advancements in AI/ML and incorporate cutting-edge techniques where relevant.
- Document models, assumptions, and results to ensure transparency and reproducibility of AI pipelines.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Machine Learning, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience:
- 6+ years in data science or machine learning, with proven experience in model development and production deployment.
Skills:
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, and data analysis tools.
- Strong understanding of statistics, feature engineering, and model evaluation metrics.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and version control systems.
- Effective communication skills and ability to translate business needs into technical models
