Job Title: Affiliate Financial Advisor

Overview

We are seeking an Affiliate Financial Advisor to join our Western Region Fuels Department. The department manages a diverse portfolio of downstream joint ventures, supporting Aramco's growth ambitions through strategic partnerships and disciplined financial oversight. The primary role involves leading the management, development, and performance optimization of high-value downstream joint ventures, focusing on profitability improvement, cost optimization, and value realization within the energy industry.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Portfolio Management & Governance: Manage and monitor joint ventures, ensure strategic alignment, represent Aramco in governance forums, and align JV strategies with business plans.
  2. Financial Management & Performance Monitoring: Lead financial modeling, oversee financial performance, conduct benchmarking, and identify value capture opportunities.
  3. Joint Venture Structuring & Transactions: Identify growth opportunities, facilitate transaction execution, and negotiate commercial terms of agreements.
  4. Stakeholder Engagement & Talent Development: Build relationships, mentor junior staff, and contribute to knowledge management and process improvements.
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Accounting, Economics, Business, or Finance; Master’s degree in Business/Finance/Management preferred.
  • Financial certification (CFA, CMA, CPA) is preferred.
  • At least 10 years of experience in Downstream Oil & Gas, with 5+ years in commercial strategy, JV management, or M&A.
  • Strong skills in portfolio management, financial valuation, modeling, due diligence, negotiations, and transaction execution.
  • Deep understanding of shareholder agreements and governance structures.
  • Proven ability to lead negotiations, influence stakeholders, and navigate complex JV dynamics.
