Job description

JOB PURPOSE

The Aerodrome-FM Services Project Director is responsible for the overall leadership and delivery of the facility management services within the Aerodrome of King Abdulaziz International Airport (KAIA) at Jeddah. This role ensures all services meet the specified standards, adhering to the Facility Management Service Delivery Plan (FMSDP) and contractual requirements.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES

•Provide full-time, on-site leadership and management of our activities at KAIA.

•Oversee the delivery of all required services to the specified standards, ensuring client satisfaction and adherence to contractual obligations.

•Maintain regular business hours availability and be contactable by mobile phone for emergencies.

•Conduct routine inspections of service areas to verify performance meets standards outlined in the FMSDP and our Quality Assurance Plan.

•Act as the primary liaison with the Contracting Authority on all contractual matters.

•Represent our company with the authority to act on its behalf regarding the services and contractual provisions.

•Ensure all instructions and notices received from the Contracting Authority are effectively communicated and implemented.

•Coordinate and manage all service providers under the contract, ensuring seamless operation.

•Possess a deep understanding of airport terminal procedures and practices.

•Be accountable for the day-to-day performance of all services.

•Manage and address any service-related issues or concerns promptly.

•Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities to optimize service delivery.

•Maintain comprehensive documentation and records related to service delivery and performance.

•Develop and foster positive working relationships with the Contracting Authority, airport stakeholders, and staff.

Skills

QUALIFICATIONS & CERTIFICATIONS

•Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field (preferred).

•Minimum of 10 years of experience in managing facility management services for large and complex facilities, preferably within an airport environment.

•Proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards.

•Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.

•Excellent organizational and planning abilities with a focus on project management methodologies.

•In-depth knowledge of facility management best practices and relevant industry standards.

•Understanding of contractual frameworks and experience in contract administration (preferred).

•Proficiency in relevant software applications for project management, reporting, and communication.

EXPERIENCE

•Demonstrated experience in managing diverse teams of service providers within a facility management setting.

•Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and handle complex situations effectively.

•Experience in implementing and maintaining quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001).

•Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations and best practices relevant to airport operations.

•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
