This position reports to: Service Sales Manager

Your role and responsibilities:

  • Drive the service sales process in collaboration with the ABB SEAM Regional Commercial and Operations team, supported by the Global Market Development team.
  • Generate service sales opportunities and secure profitable sales within the Middle East region.
  • Focus on achieving customer outcomes such as safety, reliability, and sustainability; promote the entire Service product portfolio in collaboration with other ABB service units.
  • Build long-term customer relationships and respond promptly to customer needs and issues.
  • Locate in the Middle East to facilitate close collaboration with the Operations team; travel up to 50% within the EMEA region.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Develop a sales execution plan aligned with the regional commercial strategy.
  2. Focus on customer outcomes to develop a pipeline of desirable and winnable business opportunities.
  3. Collaborate with the Global Market Development team to translate customer outcomes into service solutions.
  4. Capture and communicate the Voice of Customer (VOC) feedback to Market Development teams.
  5. Act as the commercial focal point for existing customers.
  6. Use installed base data to identify and develop service sales and Life Cycle Management (LCM) opportunities.
  7. Maintain accurate pipeline and CRM data for sales management and forecasting.
  8. Support regional marketing activities like campaigns, conferences, and customer events.
  9. Partner with Regional Commercial and Operations teams to implement the regional commercial plan.
  10. Work with the Global Market Development team to develop solutions and identify new market opportunities.
  11. Coordinate with the Global Account Management team to align local strategies.
  12. Adopt the One ABB approach to leverage and introduce other colleagues’ portfolios.

Qualifications for the role:

  • 8+ years of sales experience in commercial and industrial markets, supporting and selling solutions to end users across various industries.
  • Proven experience in sales and marketing within the Electrification or Asset Management industry, or similar fields.
  • Degree in Engineering, Business, or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency in English communication.
  • Knowledge of the Middle East market, with experience across multiple countries.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% within the Middle East region.
