The Role

In this position, you will collaborate with AspenTech Digital Grid Management product development teams, systems engineering teams, project delivery teams, and utility customers. Your responsibilities will include designing and developing standard ADMS solution architectures for customer systems and projects, leading ADMS system integration design and development, and providing documentation, training, and subject matter expertise on the ADMS system.

  • Understanding customer solution needs for ADMS.
  • Understanding ADMS system security concepts and requirements.
  • Designing and developing standard ADMS system architectures based on product, platform, and customer needs.
  • Staying updated on ADMS product developments and determining how to effectively introduce and deploy new features and products.
  • Developing customer-facing workshop and training materials on ADMS system integration.
  • Leading workshops with customers to capture interface use cases, conduct data mapping, and create interface design documents for integration.
  • Collaborating with project delivery and product teams to troubleshoot and resolve integration issues.
  • Providing insights and guidance for product improvements and optimizations.
  • Training and providing subject matter expertise on ADMS system architecture and integration for teams and customers.
What You'll Need
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer science, computer engineering, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in systems analysis, database concepts, and systems design.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Experience working with Linux and Windows systems in physical and virtual environments.
  • Proficiency with system APIs and interfaces (RESTful, SOAP, file, real-time, batch).
  • Familiarity with relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra).
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Shell and/or Python.
  • Knowledge of utility business processes, workflows, and systems is preferred.

The salary range for this role is $115,100 - $143,900. This range reflects our current estimate of the base compensation for this role. Actual pay may vary based on factors such as experience and location. The role is eligible for bonuses or variable incentive pay. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package including paid time off, charitable giveback days, medical/dental/vision insurance, and retirement plans.
