Summary
The Admissions and Enrollment Specialist is a key member of the district Admissions Department. The position is primarily responsible for the admissions and enrollment of new students and the re-enrollment of returning students. The specialist works with school and district departments to support and guide families through the admissions and enrollment process.
Position Duties
The Successful Candidate Will Be Expected To
- Demonstrate a commitment to the safety and security of children and young people (child protection).
- Acquire and maintain a working knowledge of ISG District organization policies, practices, and procedures.
- Maintain knowledge of school programs and operations.
- Respond promptly and professionally to families’ inquiries via admissions platform, school tours, email, and phone calls.
- Organize and conduct school tours.
- Collaborate with school personnel to organize open houses, orientations, webinars, and virtual tour videos.
- Assist with admissions platform setup and annual maintenance tasks.
- Collect and review admissions and enrollment data to improve processes and customer service.
- Input information into the admissions platform database.
- Provide support to parents to complete all application and enrollment requirements.
- Confirm completion and accuracy of information and document submissions.
- Maintain a regular schedule of application review and reminders.
- Maintain an applicant tracking system and monitor applicant progress.
- Liaise with school personnel to complete steps of the application review process.
- Review application materials and identify students in need of assessment.
- Organize and administer in-person and remote admissions assessments.
- Conduct preliminary applicant reviews.
- Identify and escalate at-risk or atypical admissions cases to the Admissions and Enrollment Manager.
- Track enrollment capacity and manage offers accordingly.
- Communicate admissions decisions to families.
- Communicate enrollment and re-enrollment requirements to families.
- Maintain a regular schedule of enrollment document review.
- Prepare KSA student approval documents and enter data into the student registry system.
- Liaise with other departments to review and monitor completion of enrollment requirements.
- Support families with completion of enrollment requirements.
- Maintain a system of tracking new student enrollment and re-enrollment.
- Communicate school start and welcome packet information to new families.
- Maintain a list of returning student enrollment requirements.
- Coordinate with related departments to ensure conditionally enrolled families finalize enrollment requirements.
- Coordinate with the IT department to create emails and school email groups.
- Organize and communicate re-enrollment process.
- Maintain a list of re-enrollment requirements for returning students.
- Collaborate with the Admissions and Enrollment Manager and related departments to update re-enrollment requirements.
- Initiate and monitor student withdrawals.
- Maintain a tracking system for student withdrawals.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Admissions and Enrollment Manager.
Qualifications And Knowledge

- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a related field of study.
