The Job in a Nutshell
We are seeking a highly skilledAccounting TeamLeadwith a strong background in financial reporting, revenue recognition, and compliance, particularly within theSoftware-as-a-Service (SaaS) industry. The ideal candidate will have5+ years of experience in accounting, with expertise in SaaS financial operations. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of accounting principles to support financial planning, audits, and operational efficiency.

What Will You Do

Financial Reporting & Compliance:

• Manage and oversee daily operations of the accounting department, includingAP, AR, andbank reconciliations
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
• Prepare and reviewfinancial statementsin compliance with IFRS/GAAP.
• Assist inmonth-end and year-end closingprocesses, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Maintaincompliance with local tax laws and regulations, including VAT, income tax, and any relevant financial policies.

Revenue & Subscription Accounting:

• Overseesubscription billing cycles, deferred revenue, and recurring revenue reporting.
• Monitorcustomer contracts, invoicing, and revenue recognition, ensuring alignment with SaaS industry standards.
• Reconciledeferred revenue schedulesand ensure accurateARR (Annual Recurring Revenue) and MRR (Monthly Recurring Revenue) calculations.

Financial Analysis & Process Improvement:

• Supportbudgeting and financial planningfor SaaS revenue streams.
• Identify and implementprocess improvementsto enhance efficiency in financial operations.

Audit & Internal Controls:

• Assist ininternal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and insights.
• Maintainstrong internal controlsto safeguard company assets and financial integrity.
• Develop and implementthe best practices in financial operations and reporting.

What Are We Looking For

• • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field(CPA, CMA, or ACCA certification is a plus).
  • 5+ years of accounting experience, (1-2 years in a SaaS or subscription-based business.)
  • Strong understanding ofGAAP/IFRS.
  • Experience withaccounting software,preferablyNetSuite
  • Experience withsubscription billing systems,preferablySalesforce
  • Advanced skills inExcelandfinancial modeling.
  • Proficiency in English (both written and spoken)
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability towork in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred Skills:

• • Experience working withSaaS KPIs such as CAC, LTV, Churn Rate, and Expansion Revenue.
  • Familiarity withtax regulations for SaaS businesses
  • Knowledge ofautomation tools and process optimizationin accounting.
  • Experience in a multinational company or a similar environment
