Responsibilities

  1. Responsible for setting the strategic direction and ensuring implementation within the Finance Department.
  2. Prepare or oversee the preparation of financial reports, such as income statements, balance sheets, and analyses of future earnings or expenses.
  3. Summarize and forecast the company's financial status.
  4. Set budgets and financial goals.
  5. Oversee fund investments, manage associated risks, and supervise cash management activities.
  6. Establish procedures for custody and control of assets, records, loan collateral, and securities to ensure safekeeping.
  7. Coordinate risk and insurance programs to control risks and losses.
  8. Develop and evaluate financial reporting systems, accounting, collection procedures, and investment activities; recommend procedural and system improvements.
  9. Ensure compliance with group requirements such as tax and statutory reporting, and manage service functions like IT and facilities in respective countries or units.
