Finance Manager

Main Duties/Responsibilities

• Oversee the full cycle of accounting operations for the heavy equipment rental business, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and general ledger.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports, to provide timely and accurate financial information to management.
• Manage the accounts receivable process, including invoicing, collections, and credit control, to ensure timely payment from customers.
• Process and record all vendor invoices, expense reports, and other accounts payable transactions accurately and promptly.
• Maintain a comprehensive fixed asset register, tracking acquisition, depreciation, and disposal of heavy equipment and other assets.
• Reconcile bank statements, petty cash, and other balance sheet accounts regularly.
• Assist in preparing annual budgets, cash flow projections, and long-term financial planning.
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal control policies.
• Collaborate with operations and sales teams to provide financial analyses and support decision-making.
• Implement and maintain effective accounting procedures and internal controls to safeguard assets.
• Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits and address findings or recommendations.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost savings, and enhanced reporting.
• Provide training and guidance to the accounting team for accurate financial management.
• Serve as a strategic partner to the Finance Manager and contribute to financial strategy development.

Qualifications
