Job Description:
Job Summary: AR Accountant provides accounting and administrative support at Head office(s) to ensure timely and accurate reports, acts as custodian of customer files, and monitors branch activities by keeping relevant records. The incumbent ensures compliance with company policies and that controls are in place for the sales process.
Job Responsibilities:
- Sales Process Control:
- Maintain credit customer files with valid documents as per the credit control policy and update them timely based on the expiry date.
- Upload all customer-related documents to SAP and maintain soft copies for audit queries.
- Keep accurate records of customer documents, including promissory note status, and communicate status updates to the Credit Control Manager (CCM) and Commercial Finance Manager (CFM) at the end of each month.
- Coordinate with the branch finance team to ensure completion of all customer-related audits within set deadlines and provide status updates to CCM and CFM promptly.
- Prepare the GT monthly balance confirmation report and share with observations and status reports to CCM and CFM.
- Have thorough knowledge of the company’s sales commission system and perform monthly calculations.
- Liaise with the branch finance team concerning payment reversals, credit limit updates, invoice reversals, etc., related to ERP transactions.
- Assist in adding or maintaining customer details.
- Generate and share daily actual vs. target collection reports by sales personnel.
- Ensure all branches complete a minimum of 10 customer audits monthly and share feedback or findings with CCM.
- Highlight customer balance differences and reasons for payment delays, if any.
- AR Accounting and Reporting:
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of data entry into the ERP system and maintain all supporting documents.

Essential Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Accounting
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Financial Accounting
- Proficiency in written and verbal Arabic and English languages
