Leylaty Hospitality Group in Jeddah is seeking an experienced Accountant to join our finance team in a hospitality, catering, and F&B environment. You will maintain accurate financial records, support daily accounting operations, and ensure compliance with policies and standards.

The role covers journal entries, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger, with month-end and year-end closing support. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance and 0–2 years’ experience are preferred.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 0–2 years of accounting experience, preferably in hospitality or F&B.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with VAT and local regulations is an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate accounting records and daily transactions.
  • Handle journal entries, AP, AR, and GL.
  • Prepare invoices, receipts, and supporting documents.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing.
  • Prepare financial reports and management reports.
  • Ensure proper expense recording and audit readiness.
  • Support audits with requested documentation.

Job description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our finance team within a hospitality, catering, and food & beverage environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting daily accounting operations, and ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records and financial transactions.
  • Handle daily accounting activities, including journal entries, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  • Prepare and review invoices, payments, receipts, and supporting financial documents.
  • Perform daily sales reconciliation and verify revenue from restaurants, catering, and F&B operations.
  • Monitor cash, credit card, POS, and other payment transactions and ensure accurate reconciliation.
  • Prepare bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies when required.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Prepare financial reports, schedules, and management reports as required.
  • Monitor expenses, purchases, and operational costs, ensuring proper documentation and approvals.
  • Support inventory accounting and reconciliation for food, beverage, and other operational supplies.
  • Assist in monitoring food and beverage costs and identifying variances.
  • Ensure proper recording and classification of expenses and revenues.
  • Maintain organized financial documentation and records for audit purposes.
  • Support external and internal audits by providing required financial information and documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting procedures, and applicable regulations.
  • Perform other accounting duties assigned by the Finance Manager or management.
Experience Required:
  • 0 -2 years of experience in accounting, preferably within hospitality, catering, or F&B operations.
Education Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Skills Required:
  • Good understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of VAT and relevant accounting regulations is an advantage.
